DAY 1: SAI GON – ARRIVAL
Welcome at Tan Son Nhat International airport then transfer in central city. Ho Chi Minh City still called Saigon by many local people which is the center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This bustling metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart is crowded with bikes and motorbike exciting with numerous shopping area and sidewalk coffee. Free time for your leisure.
DAY 2: SAI GON – MY THO – CAN THO
Morning departure from Sai Gon to reach the fantastic universe of the Mekong Delta. Arrival in My Tho. Transfer on a boat for a cruise on one of the Mekong branches and its canals. Stopover on the Isle of the Dragon where we discover luxurious orchards and ravish our taste buds with delicious handpicked tropical fruits. Lunch featuring the Mekong specialty, the elephant ear fish. Visit of a farm which offer home-made specialties: spirits made from rice and honey, and coconut candies. Back to My Tho, we continue our tour towards Can Tho, the Mekong Delta's metropolis.
DAY 3: CAN THO – SAI GON
Early in the morning, transfer on a boat to discover the incredible floating market of Cai Rang. Then we take a stroll in luxuriant green orchards. After breakfast, we head back to Sai Gon.
DAY 4: SAI GON – DANANG – HOI AN
Today we spend a half-day seeing some major sights of the city. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before we visit the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale! Then board for a short flight to Da Nang. On arrival you are greeted and driven to Hoian, which was originally a Cham seaport but has been influenced down centuries by a myriad of traders from various cultures.
DAY 5: HOI AN – DANANG – HUE
The ancient architecture of Hoian is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. There are plenty to see in this delightful and tranquil town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tan Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, the vibrant market. We visit these on our morning walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls, which reflect the town's multi-cultural past. Upon leaving Hoian, we drive north to Hue. On the way to Hue, we make stopover at the sensational Marble Mountains, the China Beach and Da Nang City for a visit to the Cham Museum. We then follow the road crossing over the scenic Hai Van Pass before arriving in Hue Vietnam's last imperial capital of Vietnam.
DAY 6 : HUE
After breakfast we embark on a boat for cruise up stream on the Perfume River which will give us a taste of the scenic countryside as well as an enjoyable visit beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu. Upon leaving this symbol of Hue we continue navigating to the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. In the afternoon, we visit the massive citadel of Hue: Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City was destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive, however it is still fascinating to walk among the ruins. The next stop of our trip is the elaborate royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. On return to the city, we then take a walk to the bustling Dong Ba Market and pass many fantastic eating spots where visitors have a chance to sample some local delicacies.
DAY 7: HUE – HANOI
Transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi. Arrive in Noi Bai Airport, transfer in your hotel. We enjoy a city tour starting with the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam and the impressive Ethnologic Museum, dedicated to Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. Evening: Water puppet show in Thang Long theatre.
DAY 8: HANOI – HALONG
Departure in the morning to Halong bay. Paddy fields as far as the eye can see, and the everyday life of hamlets hugging the red river delta dot the landscape. Arrival at the bay around midday. Transfer to our junk, the cruise starts on the jaded chessboard. Deluxe seafood meal served aboard. Visit of the Surprises grottoes and relaxing swim in a peaceful, unostentatious beach of Tiptop island. At sunset, we drop anchors in smooth waters near an isolated island, to enjoy a seafood dinner offered by the ship’s company.

DAY 9: BAIE D’ALONG – HANOI
Breakfast eaten in the middle of a limestone palace often veiled in a cloud of mist. The cruise continues gliding over smooth and shiny waters. Return to the harbor at 11.00. Road to Hanoi. Visit of ceramic Dong Trieu in road. Arrive in Hanoi in the end of afternoon.
DAY 10: HANOI – DEPARTURE
In the morning, we visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. Transfer to Noi Bai airport for departure. Our trip ends when group arrives at the airport.
